Mícheál O'Rourke Treasure Trove:

  • One thing most people don't know about you:
    Oh, tough one.

I've been away from home quite a while now and you have to adjust to your new country.

I've embraced exploring the Canadian wilderness and I've developed a real bug for climbing and hiking some of the peaks in the Canadian Rockies.

Hopefully all things with COVID will improve soon, it will give me a window to get back out there again.

  • Favourite Book:

Oh another hard one. How about themes?
Best sports book would be Andre Agassi's Autobiography.
I read a lot about explorers. 'Into thin air' is one.
Adam Shoalts is a great Canadian explorer and writer, his two books 'A history of Canada in ten maps' and recent one 'Beyond the Trees' would be up there.
In terms of Psychology books it would be 'Thinking fast and slow' and 'The power of habit'

  • Favourite Quote:
    I honestly don't have one...and thats not a quote.
